What's Twisted?
A twisted or "twist" doorbell is a unique Victorian-era mechanical doorbell located on the exterior of the front door. A simple twist of the brass knob rings a bell on the interior of the house — a way for guests to announce themselves!
The Twisted Doorbell Studio Gallery is located within a charming 1903 foursquare home from this period and one of the unique features (and the source of the studio's name) is its original twist doorbell on the front door (see photo above). We welcome you to give it a try upon arrival!
